We came so close! 🥈
Despite that we started one day later than the 1st rank, $Humankind ranked 2nd in the #DeBot vote — not bad for a young community built on passion and purpose.
Huge thanks to everyone who participated and voted. Next round, we rise again.

@elonmusk Humans born on Mars are likely to exhibit significant differences from those born on Earth, across physical, physiological, psychological, and cultural dimensions. These differences stem primarily from Mars’ unique environment and living conditions:
1. Physical and Physiological Differences
•Bones and Muscles: Mars’ gravity is only about 38% of Earth’s. Long-term exposure to low gravity may lead to reduced bone density and muscle mass, though Martians might become more flexible and better adapted to low-gravity environments.
•Cardiovascular System: Low gravity could affect blood circulation and heart function, potentially leading to changes in heart shape and function due to reduced gravitational demand.
•Radiation Adaptation: Mars lacks Earth’s protective atmosphere and magnetic field. Martian-born individuals may develop genetic adaptations to long-term exposure to high radiation but would also face an increased risk of cancer.
2. Psychological and Cognitive Differences
•Adaptive Psychology: Martian-born individuals would grow up accustomed to enclosed environments and limited resources, fostering a mindset focused on efficiency, cooperation, and resource conservation.
•Perception of Earth as “Home”: Their understanding of Earth would be shaped through education and media, lacking direct experiences of blue skies or oceans. This could result in fundamentally different emotional and cultural perceptions.
3. Social and Cultural Differences
•Cultural Identity: Martians may gradually develop a sense of identity distinct from Earth’s, with societal values emphasizing unity and technological solutions rather than Earth-bound traditions.
•Language and Communication: Communication delays and independent development may lead to unique languages, expressions, and even new technological standards.
4. Challenges of Adapting to Earth
•Gravity Adjustment: Returning to Earth’s gravity could cause severe discomfort, including increased strain on bones and cardiovascular systems.
•Psychological Shock: Martians might experience cultural disorientation or even “ecological anxiety” when confronted with Earth’s natural landscapes, dense populations, and resource abundance.
Conclusion
Humans born on Mars could evolve into a distinct “sub-civilization,” shaped by environmental adaptation and social evolution. They may represent the first step in humanity’s transition from a “planet-bound species” to an “interstellar species.”

@elonmusk Elon Musk’s vision for the Mars city Terminus is more than a technical challenge—it’s a profound exploration of humanity’s future.
1.Cultural Shift: Can humanity rebuild society, ethics, and values in an alien environment? Mars may spark a social experiment unlike any seen before.
2.Earth’s Transformation: Global collaboration on Terminus could drive technological breakthroughs, benefiting Earth’s energy, materials, and ecological challenges.
3.A Cosmic Civilization: Terminus might mark the beginning of a post-Earth civilization, forcing us to redefine “home,” “life,” and “future.”
Terminus isn’t just about Mars—it’s about reshaping human destiny.
