🇨🇳 Eight Chinese humanoid robots just took over an entire section of a factory
In a tablet factory in Nanchang, Jiangxi, eight humanoid robots now run the whole quality control section by themselves: audio checks, screen checks, interface testing, everything a line used to hand to eight human workers.
Average cycle is about 22 seconds per tablet. Success rate is 99.9 per cent. Peak output hits 320 an hour, around 3,000 units a day and they keep going when humans clock off.
The robots worked a live stream for six days in June and more than 20 million people watched them do it.
This is not a single-point demonstration anymore. The cluster operation has arrived, on a real production line, doing real work.
