Replying to @agarwalpacker
@agarwalpacker are the worst relocation service. We are supposed to move today and there is no sign of them, they've stopped picking up the phone calls. How u professional can one be ???

Beautiful, isnt it? ❣️ Rose-ringed parakeet. I often feel they try to communicate with us as we get closer. Their eyes follow our movements. Then they talk before they fly away. Have u ever noticed? (Birds with IndiAves)

This is a Red-tailed Shrike, an uncommon visitor to Delhi’s outskirts. A keen birder wld quickly spot the difference betwn this nd the Isabelline, a regular visitor here. I cld easily hv mistaken it for an Isabelline and walked away, missing out on a lifer! Birds with IndiAves

Just a scampering Khaleej in the pre-sun light... An interesting time to see the Khaleej Pheasants is when you are driving from your stay to the morning birding destination. #IndiAves @IndiAves

A drongo-scape. I chase a good frame as much as I chase a rare bird. In that sense, perhaps I’m less of a birder and more of a photographer. I suspect this curious hybrid exists in many of us. IndiAves, Birdwatching

A Red-faced Liochicla. One of the most striking wing patterns in avian world. Possibly the best angle too, to get on this bird. Highlight of the Sikkim Trip for me. #IndiAves @IndiAves

Another Lifer from the Sikkim Trip, The Nepal Fulvetta. A Grey-Fulvous Bird not very commonly seen. Ah, Did you know that Fulvettas are named for the fulvous colour that almost all of them display. They are closely related to parrotbills though. #IndiAves @IndiAves

Blue-Capped Rock Thrush is one of the best Holiday planners. It spends its Winters in South India, and Summers in the Himalayan foothills. A beautiful bird, if it gets disturbed by your car or camera sounds, it just retires to a higher branch and sits motionless. #IndiAves

Fire Breasted Flowerpecker. Love the name. Love the restless energy. Love the shot, even though it's a bit wired. #indiAves @indiAves

Starting with the Scimitar Babblers that I gathered on the recent trips. Slender Billed Scimitar Babbler, with Babbler's body, and a Loten Sunbird's Beak is probably the strangest looking of the lot. Liked this high key shot, highlighting its unique beak. #IndiAves @IndiAves

One of the rarest sightings from the Sikkim Trip - The Elusive Musk Deer. Was clicking some Fire-Tailed sunbirds, and this one was right there, grazing. I froze, and it came close enough for me to pat it. It then crossed the ridge and disappeared in the snow below. @IndiAves

The White tailed Lapwing reminds me of a worried youngster … for some reason they always look a little concerned. This one prefers marshy wet land to hang out in and that little tuft on the tail is an easy identifier as is their staccato flight. #rockysingh #ornithophileind

The stoic River Lapwing. It looks rather serious and can be found on the edges of rivers and waterways looking sternly at the world and walking around like an important court official heading to and important verdict. A most serious bird #rockysingh #ornithophileind #indianbirds
