Those Texas GOP Legislative Priorities, the ones used for several Legislative sessions to threaten Republican state reps seats, and for the majority of time over the last few years was the basis for most of the SREC's focus and energy, pretty much meaningless now that Democrats are in the majority in the Texas House right?

Rep. Senfronia Thompson says she has the votes to be the next Texas House Speaker. She told reporters she’s “not here to punish anybody” and wants both parties working as a unit. Fair enough. Then start with the bills that keep Texas energy affordable and keep decisions close to the people who live with them.

School board races are coming in May across Texas. They will be here soon.
A special election will be held for Senate District 16 in Dallas to replace Democrat Nathan Johnson who just won the A.G. seat. This election should happen very soon.
It's time to get to work and show Texans we are ready to lead this state again.
