Very grateful for the opportunity to write this feature on Coach Bill Tierney and Dave Cottle, their friendship and an incredible championship-winning season with @PLLWaterdogs.
At the end of Bill Tierney's second season, @PremierLacrosse approached him about hiring a GM.
He said, 'I think I quit.'
The compromise? Allowing Tierney to pick his own.
Without a second thought, he chose Dave Cottle — and the duo turned a 2-8 team into a champion.

Knighthawks' new jerseys look awesome! Going back to teal was such a great move. Most others stayed the same and look solid.
But the 2 teams with the richest history/arguably best jerseys were Bandits and Mammoth and these are massive downgrades. Shouldn't have touched them.

Ravens are very much authoring a Ravensing. Missed fourth quarter field goal and a fourth quarter fumble from Derrick Henry. We await the critical defensive penalty to set up a Browns TD drive.

Happened to get to fill in on Yahoo Sports Daily on the day after the team I've rooted for since I was 5 made the World Series. It's a Brewers clip but also: If you root for a bad team, this is why you stick it out. For the dream and hope of this.

“Today was to honor my mom,” Calais Campbell said he was playing to honor his late mother, Nateal Campbell. Sunday would’ve been her birthday.
“This was one of my favorite games.”
My brother texted me:
"Just realized nobody in the NFC East won this week, and two of them faced each other." 😂

That win by the Ravens has value beyond just improving to 4-1. To win without Lamar Jackson, trailing in a tough road game, that will carry over. sports.yahoo.com/nfl/live/ra…

Even if the defense needs a lil breather, when weighed against not giving Penix more time to shake it off...I dunno.
Ravens D has to be the worst 3rd down defense in the league. They give up 3rd and long like it's their job
Giants-Commanders was an absolute disaster class of a game.
Fitting that the game ended in a tie, but both teams honestly deserved to lose.

We also gave our thoughts on the Cam Jurgens trade from the Eagles to the Ravens on this show.
short version: I liked it and understood it for both sides.
Football 301’s week 5 preview is out!
@MattHarmon_BYB joins me to breakdown a great crop of games.
Deep dives on 49ers-Seahawks, Raiders-Pats, and Bills-Rams.
We also throw up Hail Marys and give out our cheat sheet items.
We’re in store for another doozy of a weekend.
We're seeing an unprecedented line movement in the Eagles-Jaguars game, with Jacksonville moving from -2.5 earlier in the week to now -7.5.
@BFawkes22 broke it down on Yahoo Sports Daily.
Ioane has been awesome for the Ravens so far! Hoping he plays well at center again this week, if only for just one more time.
(Fun edit from @TheAthleticNFL team btw)
New position? No problem for Vega Ioane.
