These are pictures of the Gardiner Expressway, right in the heart of Canada’s largest city.
Look at the concrete. The cracks. The deterioration. The patchwork.
Millions of Canadians travel on infrastructure like this every day.
We somehow find billions for international commitments, grand announcements, political pet projects and endless promises to build a better tomorrow.
But what about maintaining the country we already built?
Canada is a G7 nation. Toronto is its financial capital.
Yet ordinary Canadians are left looking at infrastructure that raises serious questions about maintenance and public priorities.
And the irony?
We pay income taxes. Property taxes. Sales taxes. Fuel taxes. And taxes on practically everything else.
HOW MUCH MORE MUST CANADIANS PAY BEFORE BASIC INFRASTRUCTURE BECOMES A PRIORITY?
A country doesn’t become prosperous by announcing billion-dollar projects while neglecting what previous generations built.
You can’t build the future if you can’t maintain the present.
Welcome to Canada. Where the announcements are always brand new, but the concrete tells a different story. 🇨🇦

Novo pojačanje Crvene zvezde je Luka Ilić koji je sa našim klubom potpisao ugovor do 2028. godine, sa mogućstvom produžetka saradnje.
Luka Ilić je rođen 2. jula 1999. godine u Nišu i u Crvenu zvezdu je prvi put stigao još kao pionir. Od tada je prošao sve mlađe selekcije našeg kluba i izborio se za mesto u prvom timu, u kojem je već tokom prve seniorske sezone potvrdio kvalitet i imao značajnu ulogu. Crvenu zvezdu napustio je 2018. godine, nakon čega je nastavio karijeru u inostranstvu, a najviše nastupa je zabeležio u Holandiji i Francuskoj, gde je stekao značajno internacionalno iskustvo. U sezoni 2024/25 ponovo je obukao crveno-beli dres, a potom je u julu 2025. godine potpisao za španski Real Ovijedo, za koji je nastupao do povratka u Crvenu zvezdu.
