Idaho voters need to know that Prop 1, which they'll vote on in this November election, is full of vague and misleading language that will result in an extreme abortion law. As @BMitchell4idaho tells us, Prop 1 portrays itself as "moderate" and "commonsense," when in fact it redefines viability to allow for late-term abortion, and it conflicts with Idaho's longstanding parental consent laws, meaning underage girls could get abortions without their parents' knowledge or consent.

Idaho joins in mourning the passing of former Governor Dirk Kempthorne, a statesman whose legacy of leadership, service and unwavering love for the Gem State leaves an enduring mark on our state and nation. Kempthorne died on Friday, April 24.
