Cross-genre is risky because the book does not fit anywhere.
On genre is hard because the competition is stiffer.
Neither matters if the algorithm already buried the book.
Is there a way to overcome this trifecta?
Is there a documented case where a book blurb can be credibly credited for selling an otherwise unknown novel?
Or is it all anecdotal survivor bias?

I have spent half a day now with things going wrong repeatedly.
Once you accepted the cover, but you had a problem because I have a barcode. Tell me to vectorize it.
Tried that, can’t upload the same exact file because the pixels are wrong.
Upload a perfect pdf cover of my own. You tell me the pixel dimensions is wrong. I export the file in ten different ways. (A file that works on other systems, I can show you the proof)
No luck.
Upload my own pdf interior. 292 pages. Your system tells me it is 294 because you add two blank pages.
