When Justin Rice (@jricetweets), VP of Ecosystem at SDF (@StellarOrg) described how builders go from first commit to a funded, launched project on Stellar, he started with Rise In.
He called it โa whole ladder of programs.โ Builders learn and ship their first project with @riseinweb3, build through hackathons and ambassador Instawards, and grow into the Stellar Community Fund, which lets founders launch.
We take that first step seriously. We get builders from zero to their first real project, then connect them to the funding, support, and mentorship that come next. Right now, around 100 projects from the Rise In community are building toward Instawards.
At #HackMeridian2026 in Lisbon, our @VN_Stellar Chapter Lead Tiffany H. (@Tiffany_herefen) talked with Justin about where the ecosystem is heading. His advice to founders: start with a real problem, focus on access in your market, and remember that โwhat you need now more than anything is hustle.โ

Proud to help grow the Stellar ecosystem with @StellarOrg & @BuildOnStellar ๐
#HackMeridian2026 is underway in Lisbon - two days of developers, founders and designers building on @StellarOrg, right before Meridian opens.
It kicked off yesterday. Today is day two, and what started as ideas on the first morning is turning into working products.
#BuildOnStellar
The @StellarOrg India community came together for the Ambassador Connect today. ๐
From ecosystem updates and SCF to Instawards and what our ambassadors are building, it was a chance to reconnect, share progress and explore more opportunities to grow together.
The builders make the ecosystem. ๐
From builder meetups and Build Stations to teams shipping on mainnet, itโs been exciting to see the @StellarOrg ecosystem grow.
Next week on Oct 28-29, Meridian brings that bigger picture to Lisbon, two days exploring how Stellar is being used in production across payments, tokenized assets and institutional finance.
With leaders from DTCC Digital Assets, Fireblocks, U.S. Bank, Meta and SkyBridge Capital joining the conversation, itโll be interesting to see where the ecosystem goes next.
HackMeridian kicks things off on October 25-26, followed by Meridian on October 28-29 at Convento do Beato.

Real-world safety is being built on Stellar, and @lanternwallet is leading the way:
โข Every transaction explained in plain words before you sign
โข Recipients checked against an on-chain scam registry
โข Risky transactions held until you confirm
โข 270+ transactions scanned in alpha
Lantern is a non-custodial Stellar wallet that reads every transaction before you sign it. Paste any link or message to check it, recover your wallet with guardians you trust, and open Stellar apps right inside your wallet.
Report once, protect everyone. Open source, on Android and Chrome.
At @riseinweb3, we keep following the teams we work with long after the grant. Lantern, from the @StellarOrg ecosystem, is our second Project Highlight ๐

Pune Build Station had the biggest room of the four.
It started on 4 July with 96 builders in one room in Pune. After that, a review every week for three weeks, then demo day on 25th. Three times across three weeks, everyone came back to the same room and showed the rest of the cohort exactly how far theyโd got.
By demo day, ~15 projects were live on mainnet.
All of them, in their own words:

Stellar Build Station Kolkata started in June of this year!
The first week was about finding the right problems to solve. By week two, teams were moving from planning to deploying contracts and sharing working products.
Word spread beyond the room, and Kolkata quickly became one of the most talked-about Build Stations.
By the end of 21 days, builders had shipped 17 projects on mainnet.
From perps DEXs and ZK identity to yield tokenization and confidential RWA credit lines, the progress spoke for itself.

In July, 63 builders across Delhi NCR signed up for something that asked more of them than a weekend.
Teams worked on their own ideas, came into a room every week to show what had moved, and had mentors sitting in on product, tech and go-to-market while the work was actually happening.
21 days later, 9 of those projects were mainnet-ready.

Run in Delhi NCR with @zeroxspace_.
Most of them are still building. Worth a follow!
Last few months, Stellar India ambassadors have run 21 events across 11 cities.
Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Bhopal, Nagpur, Indore, Jabalpur & more.
Each one was built by someone local who decided their city deserved a Stellar community.
The ambassadors are the ecosystem here!

In August, Stellar India ambassadors ran three events across three cities.
> Stellar Vidisha Build Sprint, Madhya Pradesh
> Stellar Nagpur Launchpad, Maharashtra
> Stellar Hyderabad Meetup, Telangana
Different cities, different communities, same goal: meeting builders where they are and helping them build on Stellar.
Stellar Launchpad - Nagpur
Designed for those taking their first steps into Web3 - covering blockchain fundamentals, the Stellar ecosystem, real-world use cases, and the grants and opportunities available to builders.
Hosted by our Ambassador @PriyalRaut17.
๐ KDK College of Engineering
Stellar Connect - Hyderabad
The first Stellar community meetup in the city brought together around 25 developers, founders, and students for a full day of learning and building.
Hosted by our Ambassador @imtiyaz865.
In partnership with The Orbit, Kramers Community, and React Hyderabad.
