Empowering excellence⚓ @IN_Hamla in collaboration with @fssaiindia , Mumbai successfully conducted a three-day Nutrition Foundation Level Course from 07-09 Jul 26 for 10 participants from the Indian Navy, Indian Air Force and Indian Coast Guard at the Joint Services Catering Institute. The course enhanced instructors' knowledge of nutrition, balanced diets and menu planning to strengthen future training. The Commanding Officer INS Hamla interacted with the team from FSSAI, Mumbai headed by Ms. Pritee Chaudhary, IRS, Director FSSAI Mumbai Region and stressed upon developing additional courses and MDPs for Defence personnel which would further promote the importance of balanced nutrition through curated menus and reaffirm the shared commitment of promoting nutritional excellence. #Hamlahappenings ⚓ The maiden Mid-Career Course for Assistant Naval Store Officers (ANSO-II) was conducted at @IN_Hamla from 15 Jun to 04 Jul 2026 for 28 Civilian Officers of the Naval Store Cadre. The three-week course focused on training on aspects related to Material Planning & Forecasting, Inventory Control Systems, Warehousing, Behavioural Skills, Effective Supervision, and enhancing professional competence for efficient logistics management in the Indian Navy. 🇮🇳 The Commanding Officer addressed the participants and emphasised on the optimum utilisation of all the material management techniques by the participants with a customer centric approach.
