As many of you may remember, TAMU is the little girl with bullet fragments in her skull. After the intervention of veterinarians, she is now healthy and happy amongst her own kind. This is thanks to a combined efforts between @ConservC , @lwiroprimates and other nature lovers!

The last saved baby chimp by the @ConservC team has been well received at @Lwiro. After the preliminary check up, it was discovered that the baby has two bullets in her skull. Vets are fighting hard to save the little life. This is beyond horrible! #Savethechimps! #sensitizing

Great news knowing that finally our natural heritage has returned home, after months of living in crates in foreign land. All the praise goes to @JackChimps for all the efforts & resilience to get this done! Unfortunately 1/3 of them was lost but grateful for the surviving 20!

Another 1 off the wildlife trade is a win! The rescue of MAKASI, the chimp is a success thanks to the combined efforts of @BonoboAid , 4 providing funds, @ConservC & RECOPRIBA 4 coordinating the mission. Thanks to @lwiroprimates 4 accepting to take her in.She's now safe & sound!

Kinshasa zoo slowly turning into a circus! This baby bonobo is being dressed like a clown to attract visitors. In any decent country, the director should resign in shame! Another ignorant way of using wildlife as a commodity @4pae @IPPLprimate @stolenapes @USEmbKinshasa
