Reminder to runners: Don’t be fooled by any added safety of night meets. You must be sure you’re hydrating well throughout the day before the meet. Otherwise, you arrive to a night meet already dehydrated and already in peril. Hopefully you have a water bottle with you throughout the day. #TakeGoodCare

Meet directors: During this heat wave, you MUST be very proactive beforehand in shortening race distances, adjusting start times, adding water stations, securing more trainers and EMS resources, etc. Do the safe thing the right way and most coaches/kids/parents will understand.🙏🏼
