What the crap @united ? You diverted our flight to a different destination (happens, better to be safe), but then cancel the transfer flight to the destination forcing us to book a different flight and then refusing to reimburse that expense? Terrible customer service.

Sure thing - I think practice building as an IR is easier than many may think. Tip 1 - Be clinician, not a technician. Perceived quality tends to have more to do with what you do outside the fluoro suite... Tip 2 - Figure out your relationship with DR
Solid advice on practice building! @IR_Ethics please share more if you can!

Tip 3 - Be a scavenger before a predator and own it. Tip 4 - Know your audience, medical specialties are different cultures, speak their language, be a breath of fresh air Tip 5 - Simply being in the room goes a long way, e.g., tumor boards

Elevate your consent conversations with the Interventional Initiative Scratch Pads and Patient Decision Aids (PDAs). My patients absolutely love these, particularly the new scratch pads. theii.org/scratch-pads @SIO_Central @SIRRFS @IR_Juniors @_backtable @cirsesociety

GAE for persistent arthritic knee pain despite conservative management. Used a 3:1 lipiodol-contrast emulsion thanks to advice from @TheRealDoctorOs and results of LipioJoint-1 trial. Great clinical outcome. @SIR_ECS @AndrewPicelMD @IR_Juniors @GuerbetUS

Bleeding lumbar artery PsA. Couldn’t get passed the origin possibly due to transection so decided to glue to close any potential backdoor. Thought about gelfoam+coils too but this seemed cleaner. #IRad @SIR_ECS
