Centers of Excellence: Two new publications. One shared vision.  ISGD x GlomCon! Centers of Excellence in Glomerular Disease aim to unite comprehensive patient care, cutting-edge research, clinical trials, education, and equitable access to innovative therapies worldwide. With two complementary consensus papers now published in Kidney International and Kidney International Reports, we have reached an important milestone toward this shared goal. Tobias B. Huber, ISGD’s Founding President, commented, “Together we are turning scientific excellence into global impact, connecting research, innovation, and clinical care for the benefit of patients worldwide.” Ali Poyan Mehr, GlomCon’s Founding President, shared, “Patients everywhere deserve access to expert glomerular care.” These publications lay the groundwork to bring this vision to life together. By joining forces under one unified Centers of Excellence program, we can set shared standards that advance excellence and improve access worldwide. GlomCon and ISGD are now working together to establish a unified global certification program, with final criteria and next steps coming soon!
