Vadodara, Gujarat- Manmohan Singh (25) and Sufiyan Abdul Sattar Siddiqui (25) were business partners. They ran a shop 'Chai Ka Adda' in Vadodara's Gorwa.
There was a dispute between the two over the issue of not coming to the shop on time.
On the night of 26 October 2026, Sufiyan took Manmohan on a bike. He allegedly took him to the Narmada canal in the Madhunagar area of Gorwa and pushed him in during an argument.
Manmohan Singh drowned.
Both of them are originally from UP.
A search was launched for the body after the incident. The body was found near Hinglot village after searching for about 10 km from Panchavati canal towards Padra.
After seeing CCTV footage, Sufiyan Abdul Sattar Siddiqui was arrested for murder.

Dehradun- A minor Hindu girl used to learn the trade in a salon from Riyaz Ahmad.
She used to tie a Rakhi on his wrist and called him Bhaiya (elder brother).
Riyaz Ahmad alias Salman Deoband took the 15-year-old minor Hindu girl to a forest on the pretext of salon work and molested her in Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
The girl informed her family, who contacted Bajrang Dal.
His phone showed he targeted only Hindu girls.
Bajrang Dal gave him ‘sweets’ and handed him over to the police.

Udham Singh Nagar Dist- A married Hindu woman had a friendship with a Muslim man Shadab (29).
They used to exchange messages. One day he told her that it was his birthday and called her to a hotel where he gave her a soft drink laced with sedatives.
Then he raped he and recorded obscene videos. He took her to Ajmer Sharif dargah and converted her religion, changed her name to Raziya, and fed her beef.
After this he again sexually & physically assaulted her.
Fed up of the torture, she stopped meeting him.
He sent her obscene video to her husband and threatened & blackmailed her that he will upload them on social media.
The woman has filed a FIR.
Police arrested Shadab (son of Islam), aged 29, a resident of Bhauli Sardar Nagar village, Amariya police station area, Pilibhit district, Uttar Pradesh.

Gym trainer Arif Shaikh used the 'Hinge' dating application to establish contact with Hindu women, gain their trust and lure them into relationships.
He is accused of sexually assaulting women, recording objectionable videos and subsequently blackmailing them using the footage.
Arif Shaikh made pornographic videos of Hindu girls and sold them to a site in Brazil. Hundreds of videos have been recovered from his mobile.
The accused has already been arrested in connection with the case.
In her complaint, the 22-year-old woman alleged that Shaikh established contact with her through the 'Hinge' dating application sometime between March and September 2026.
He allegedly gained her confidence and invited her to his residence, where he sexually assaulted her.
The complainant further alleged that Shaikh recorded objectionable videos of her on his mobile phone during the incident.
He also allegedly took two gold rings from her on the pretext of needing money.
