My only thing here is that I’ve produced over five animated amateur shows, I’ve published like three different webcomics— so in no way is 8SEN my first ever attempt at writing.
I just hope it’s better than 2.0, which I was soooo clueless with
The discussion around indie writing makes me so nervous omg. Like I’m going into this knowing that there’s going to be lots of improvement needed, but it does make me wonder how I am as a writer…. Especially after all the research and studying I did for it😳

i dont usually have to draft twice bUT.....girls are hard to draw and i was STRUGGLING
I'm pretty happy with what I have so far, though the dialogue can definitely use some de-stiffening.
But, considering the functionality and what I'm trying to set up, I thinkkkk I got a solid start ✨

Would yall get mad at me if I said that "therapyspeak" is nowhere near as common in newer fiction as the internet likes to complain? Like half the time people complain about "therapyspeak" its just two characters talking about their feelings in a mature, healthy way

I do get asked often what 8SEN’s episode duration will be roughly and tbh. I want to prioritize pacing over a set duration!!!

I had a few trusted people take a look at the currently 9 outlined episodes and the pacing seems pretty decent.
My guess is that the run time will be much longer than the anticipated 10-15 minute mark though 🤔
