Imagine if she had decided to feed you lies out of pain, jealousy or resentment. Imagine if she told you all sorts of things just to plant seeds of doubt in your mind and sabotage your relationship. You’d have willingly handed a stranger the opportunity to destroy your own happiness. Some people really lack common sense, walahi. And if you think I’m exaggerating, go and try it yourself. Text your partner’s ex and see what happens. Not every door needs to be opened, and not every question needs an answer. Sometimes, the peace you enjoy depends on the things you have the sense not to investigate.
