You would understand him. I mean, this is someone coming from a team used to playing the ball on the ground and hurt clubs in the process. So, yeah, he's right. We need to play and keep possession. That way, we become more tough to play against. And he needs to improve too. π
π¨ Bradley Barcola on the Arsenal defeat:
βI donβt think it has changed the goals for this season. We had the chances to score, even to win the match.
βOften, when weβre in a game like this, we resort to long balls, but in my opinion, we should try to keep the ball on the ground more, because we have the players with the quality to do that.
βWe are not going to give up. We know that other teams will drop points. So itβs down to us to remain consistent until the end of the season.β π΄π«π·

Personally, he is having a good season. While the club has not had major improvement to last season. I mean, if you compare this stage of last season and the current one, we've accumulated same point. While the football is not dire to watch like it was, we still need to improve.
Alexis Mac Allister on this season compared to last:
βTo be honest, in a great place, although itβs true last season was a complicated one for us, for the club, and for the team in general. [This season] Iβve been feeling really good.
βLiverpool always have quality. The reality is that we had that last season too, so thatβs not an excuse, but other things happened that unfortunately made us not do well as a team, and this season I think we have recovered a bit of that. I think we are good as a group, as a team, we know what we have to do now, so we are now in a better situation.β π¦π·π΄

You watch Kerkez, you wish to have Tsimikas. When you watch Tsimikas, you then wish to have Kerkez. It's really a tough situation to be in as a club. We need a solution, and fast! #lfc

I will be blaming this on Isak, Van dijk (as the captain), and the other players. If the Ref wouldn't see it, force him to see it! A protest would have given us the pen right there. It's why I appreciate Bruno Fernandez sometimes. He's not allowing that pass!
The boy showed why we do better when we build up from the back. He also showed you can put the game on high tempo and still build up/control. Come January/Summer, we should be addressing somethings in that Midfield.
Trey Nyoni was one of the biggest positives to take from yesterday's game.
His 96% passing accuracy against Arsenal speaks volumes about his composure and technical quality. Leading both teams in completed passes and line-breaking passes in just 59 minutes is no ordinary achievement.
Liverpool must keep investing in this young man's development. π―

I think this moment came where the Ref was slowing down momentum with his decisions. Just as a fan watching, I was really pissed too.
He does well defensively even though it's not to a top level standard. Other than this, he's got nothing left to offer. As much as I appreciate him, I don't personally think he's LfC standard. It's time to move on from him.
What exactly does Kerkez bring to this Liverpool team? Defensively, he's rash and positionally unreliable. Going forward, his decision-making is poor, and his attacking output is nowhere near the level required.
Running around for 90 minutes doesn't make you a quality left-back. Liverpool need intelligence, composure and consistencyβnot just energy. π€¦π»

As much as Wirtz needs to create chances, the team generally needs to know how to create chances too. What happens when we play without Wirtz? We wouldn't know what to do with the ball? Not being able to create quality chances is a team problem, not Solely a Wirtz problem.
You will go places. π―β€οΈ
