Etihad Airways statement, in full. ⤵️
"Etihad Airways has reviewed the Premier League commission's published opinion relating to the disciplinary proceedings involving Manchester City, together with the Premier League's public communication of its findings.
"Etihad categorically rejects any finding, conclusion or implication that suggests the airline has ever been involved in improper commercial arrangements.
"The Premier League's public communication of the commission's findings, following a period of selective leaks and reporting, has further created damaging implications for Etihad despite the airline not being named in the redacted published findings.
"At no time did the Premier League reach out to or engage with Etihad in the process associated with the commission's opinion. Etihad was therefore never given the opportunity by the Premier League to be represented, to provide relevant information, or to ensure the accuracy and fairness of information relied upon in reaching conclusions that may now be interpreted as reflecting adversely on the airline.
"Etihad is deeply concerned by the way this matter has been communicated publicly. The lack of clarity and transparency, together with the selective disclosure of information, has created damaging implications for Etihad despite the airline not being named in the published decision. The Premier League must take responsibility for the consequences of the way in which these findings have been presented.
"Etihad is immensely proud of its longstanding relationship with Manchester City. The Etihad name has been proudly carried by the club and its stadium for many years, as part of a partnership that has connected us with millions of supporters around the world. Our commitment to Manchester City, its supporters and our shared partnership remains strong.
"We stand with the club, its supporters and our wider Etihad community as Manchester City challenges the commission's conclusions through the processes available to it.
"Etihad will seek the relevant legal counsel on the options and recourse available to protect its interests."

They bulldozed 100,000 trees in the Amazon rainforest for a highway to shuttle 50,000 delegates to COP30—and private jets are falling from the skies in a carbon confetti parade. The Avenida Liberdade (Liberty Avenue) slices 13 km through the protected Belém Environmental Protection Area south of Belém (Nov 10–21). The irony of desecrating the iconic rainforest to host a climate summit!
Red dirt is flanked by dense green jungle. Yellow excavators and bulldozers grind forward amid scattered vehicles. Experts warn of fragmented habitats, supercharged roadkill (Brazil loses ~475 million wild animals yearly to roads), & a red carpet for illegal loggers and sprawl.
Net zero on the tarmac: biodiversity in the ditch.

Our 1st XI travels to face Thornton Cleveleys CC 3rd XI. Can the returning Smalley rally his troops and push up to 4th in the league? With only 30 points between the two teams, there's all to play for with the end of the season in sight. Go well, lads!

Just for context, United are now guaranteed to finish on less points than Stuart Pearce’s 2005/06 City team, & if they fail to win on Sunday, his 2006/07 one too, which only scored 10 home goals.

If you fixate on pointing out faults, weaknesses, & errors, your faith will fade. You’ll end up cutting yourself off from the Lord’s power.
If we lift others, extend grace, & overlook shortcomings - just as we hope others will do for us - God will infuse our lives with joy.

The family is God’s creation, not a human invention. Our loving Father in Heaven sends His children to earth in families because this is an essential part of His plan for our growth, improvement, and happiness. It is strong families that make strong societies—today on International Day of Families and always.
The day-to-day activities that families do together give children the opportunity to see parents putting into practice the moral values they have taught. They see how those values find expression in—and even define—everyday life. This constant, consistent example communicates more powerfully than any sermon, planting true principles deep into the heart.
The families we form and nurture here on earth are but imperfect imitations of God’s heavenly family. His purpose is for us to find joy here and to prepare ourselves for everlasting joy with Him in the hereafter, where the pattern of families continues eternally.

I just paid nearly £4k in council tax
With money ALREADY taxed:
-25% corp tax
-39% dividend tax
-Had to add VAT of 20%
So that means I needed to earn nearly £14k (FOURTEEN grand)
To pay tax to my CITY when I’ve already paid tax to my COUNTRY
I get NOTHING from £14k just for the PRIVILEGE of living
And what do I get for it?
My bins emptied once a week
