Today is #DisabilityPayGap day, the day when Disabled workers stop getting paid for the rest of the year.
In 2025 Disabled workers earn £78.40 less a week then non-disabled workers. Disabled workers earn £4,081 less a year than everyone else.
The gap is more than the average house spends on food a week - £64.30.

Today I've been at #TAD2024.
Over 200 Type 1 diabetics (and more supporting #tFd) in one room with total of > 3,400 years lived experience between them.
A day of understanding and #PeerSupport where glucose alarms were just part of the "normal" background of the day. #t1d #GBDoc – at West Midlands, England
