A $1 trillion wipeout in a single session is a massive reaction to political uncertainty.
But markets aren't just pricing in Lula's victory. They're trying to figure out what it means for fiscal discipline, foreign investment, and Brazil's economic direction.
A $56K investment turning into $7.23M is the kind of return everyone dreams about.
But nine years is a long time in crypto. Multiple brutal bear markets, endless FUD, and probably hundreds of moments where selling would've felt like the smart move.
Another Nasdaq-listed company adding Bitcoin to its balance sheet, but the interesting part isn't just the $250M figure. It's whether these companies can build a sustainable treasury strategy around BTC rather than simply using it to attract investor attention.
🔥 UPDATE: NASDAQ listed Alpha Modus says its subsidiary holds more than $250M worth of Bitcoin after acquiring 3,170 $BTC.
Token unlocks are one of those supply events the market tends to underestimate until the selling pressure actually shows up. The size matters, but I'd pay even more attention to who receives the tokens and whether there's enough organic demand to absorb them.
Token foundations are getting the same scrutiny as exchanges. That's a big shift for how crypto projects will need to manage liquidity and insider activity.
Australia's next crypto framework could have a bigger impact on market structure than most people expect. Clear rules around custody, licensing and customer assets would give serious operators more confidence to build locally. The key is making compliance practical without pushing smaller platforms out of the market.
🇦🇺 NEW: Australia’s ASIC seeks feedback on proposed crypto rules ahead of an April 2027 rollout.
Three industry experts explain what the proposals could mean for platforms and customer assets. Felix Ng reports.

Esports is becoming a pretty interesting acquisition channel for crypto platforms. Binance turning match predictions into a social competition makes a lot more sense than another generic trading campaign. The real test is whether those users stick around after the rewards are gone

Standard Chartered providing institutional custody for RLUSD is a meaningful step, but the trading collateral angle is what really interests me.
Stablecoins have already proven they can move money efficiently. Getting major financial institutions comfortable using them as collateral is a different challenge entirely.
The Ripple and LMAX partnership could help bridge that gap, especially if RLUSD becomes easier to integrate into institutional trading workflows.
What matters now is liquidity, redemption reliability and how the collateral performs during volatile markets. That's where real institutional adoption gets tested.
Good to see Singapore continuing to invest in early-stage fintech and Web3 founders. A $170K prize pool is meaningful at this stage, but the real value comes from investor access, partnerships and getting in front of actual customers. Curious to see which of these five teams can turn the momentum from SG CONNECT into real traction over the next year.
🇸🇬 CONNECT Singapore's Pitch Competition has awarded its biggest prize pool ever, totaling $170,000.
Five startups took the stage:
• @Onlend_
• @coffer_so
• @echomoneyHQ
• @credilabs
• @qmcfinance
Supported by @FundersVC, @InspiraLabsHQ, @QuillAudits_AI, @HackenProof, @SkynetTrading_, @MetaLeX_Labs, @ChainstackHQ and Cointelegraph.
Congratulations to the winners!
AI agents could be the first crypto narrative where the infrastructure actually matters more than the speculation. Autonomous systems need payments, identity, and verifiable execution. Crypto has a real shot at becoming the financial layer they operate on.
The key tradeoff is bringing leverage onshore without recreating the risk profile of offshore 100x markets. If the rules are too restrictive, liquidity stays abroad; if they’re too loose, the whole regulatory argument gets harder to defend.
“Quadrillions on-chain” is the kind of claim that needs a lot more detail before the headline means much. The important question is what payment flows actually move onchain, what rails they use, and who is adopting them.
Tokenized equities stop looking like a crypto experiment once the owner of the NYSE is involved. If this clears the SEC process, the bigger story isn't 63 stocks. It's traditional market infrastructure starting to move on-chain.
🇺🇸JUST IN: Crypto exchange OKX and NYSE owner ICE have OFFICIALLY filed with the SEC to bring 63 NYSE stocks on-chain.
Their joint venture, OKXICE, wants to offer tokenized shares of the NYSE-listed companies, per Bloomberg.
It's one of the first major crypto exchanges to use the SEC's new rules for trading tokenized stocks.
Companies will get 30 days to opt out before trading can begin.
This is the kind of regulatory shift that can quietly unlock a lot of institutional adoption. More custody flexibility means fewer operational bottlenecks for advisers that actually want to offer crypto exposure.
🇺🇸 BIG: The SEC proposes letting investment advisers hold clients' crypto themselves when no qualified custodian is available, and allowing state trust companies to act as crypto custodians.

,Hong Kong has always looked less like an exception and more like a controlled experiment. If China eventually wants crypto exposure without giving up capital controls, that framework gives it a pretty obvious playbook.
The bigger unlock for crypto may be when people stop thinking of tokenization as purely a financial use case. Entertainment, music and social are enormous markets where digital ownership and programmable assets actually feel native.
The strange part is that the company building the frontier models now has to list the models themselves as a material risk. AI risk just went from a research debate to an investor disclosure.
The interesting part isn't Coinbase adding more products. It's turning the exchange into an execution layer where agents can continuously compare markets and route capital. That changes what an exchange actually is.
The “10x bigger than AI” line is bold, but the national security angle is probably the more important signal. If quantum reaches real commercial utility, governments won’t treat leadership here like a normal technology cycle.
