The thing about that 50k for vulnerable Nigerians is that, people that actually need it, don't even have a phone to access it
According to the Hadith, what age was Aisha?
Firstly, I think you need to educate yourself about Islam and the history of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) before making such comments, especially when you are discussing a subject you clearly have little knowledge about.
The issue of Aisha's age is not as straightforward as you are trying to present it. Yes, there are narrations in Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim that put her age at six at the time of the marriage contract and nine at consummation. However, there are also historical arguments by some researchers who, using the chronology of events in early Islamic history, argue that she was considerably older, possibly in her late teens. These arguments are debated, and you should at least be familiar with them before presenting one position as the entire historical account.
More importantly, you cannot reasonably examine seventh-century Arabia using only the social standards of the 21st century without understanding the historical context. Early marriages were not peculiar to Arabia or Islam. They existed in several ancient civilisations, including Jewish, Roman and Greek societies.
For instance, the early Christian text known as the Protoevangelium of James describes Mary, the mother of Jesus, as being twelve when she was placed in the care of Joseph. Historical research by M.K. Hopkins, published in Population Studies in 1965, also documents the early ages at which girls married in ancient Rome. These are historical realities, not Islamic inventions.
I am not saying that every historical practice must automatically be adopted today. I am saying that intellectual honesty requires you to understand the period, its traditions and its social realities before passing judgment.
You are free to disagree with Islamic teachings, but deliberately insulting a religion because you have not taken the time to understand its history does not make you knowledgeable.
And since you have access to social media, I would expect you to appreciate the importance of research, evidence and context before arriving at a conclusion.
Please, learn about Islam before proudly presenting yourself as someone who wants to criticise it.
Even if Islam is the only religion left on earth, they will still find a way to kill each other
Izala, Ahlus Sunnah. Salafawa. Wahabiyawa. Lakurawa. Even if you call us Nuclear, no problem.
Whatever names they choose to call us, we remain committed to upholding the Sunnah of our Noble Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
Our identity is firmly established by the Qur’an and the authentic Sunnah, not by people’s approval or disapproval. We know what we stand for, and we remain steadfast upon our beliefs.
Let's imagine,
They caught two people having sex in Amadioha shrine, and the native doctor/ chief priest beheaded them.
Weak men, produce weak society
Room full of women on the Oprah show starts cheering after a doctor says that black female child murderers need to be supported too, not just the white child murderers like Lindsay Clancy.
"I want us to have the same passion for [female child murderers] who don't look like Lindsay."
"There are women of color sitting around this country in prisons for [murdering their children]. I just wanna remind us to have the pink shirts and the energy for them as well."
Totally insane.
I love geography, believe you me, I know country and their capitals, but I never heard of Haiti until confederation cup in 2013
Why do Africans / Blacks hate Haiti 🇭🇹 ? Is it because they freed themselves from slavery while other groups were weak minded and subservient?
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The claim that Africans hate Haiti is not widely supported. Haiti's successful revolution against slavery is frequently praised in pan-African writings and thought. Africans commenting online often say they have little knowledge of or positive views toward Haiti. thefunambulist.net/magazine/pan-a… aeon.co/essays/why-hai… reddit.com/r/AskAnAfrican…
