I’m going to say this, and some of you won’t like it, but I don’t think Bruno should be our main man in midfield. Look at the attackers we have: Cunha, Mbeumo, Amad and Sesko. These are dangerous players, but we’re making them look average because our attack relies too heavily on one source of creativity. Bruno is great at long balls and crosses, but we need someone who can consistently break down compact defences with short, incisive passes. When teams sit back, we struggle. Bruno goes wide, crosses get blocked, and our attackers become ineffective. I’d rather have Mainoo or Zirkzee as our main creative outlet. We need variety in midfield, not the same approach every game.
