Many businesses lose leads every night without even knowing
Customer messages but nobody answers and by morning they have booked someone else
So I built a chatbot that never sleeps. It answers questions instantly, gathers customer details and issue and alerts the owner at once
The part I love the most about building automations is actually building flows that have real impact on businesses
Everytime that a customer buys something, a good inventory system should already know what to do next without the business owner having to intervene
This is why I built a smart inventory manager using @n8n_io

7/ The 3rd flow is the weekly intelligence report flow.
Every Monday at 8am, it pulls inventory and sales data and it gives a fully detailed report to the business owner by mail
3/ The second flow handles delivery. The staff fills a simple Tally form including the delivery details
n8n finds the purchase order and compares what arrives with what was ordered
In the case of a short delivery an alert is immediately sent to the supplier.
2/ Then it checks if stock is at or below reorder level. If stock isn't nothing happens. When stock is low, it automatically creates a purhase order row, notifies the supplier by mail and sends a slack alert to the owner.
Nobody has to notice or remember

The first flow majorly processes the order to the stock update
A store order hits a webhook. The system finds the product by SKU in Google sheets and deducts the quantity sold
I tested this using a simulated Shopify order

Even the simplest workflow can solve a big problem when you properly understand the business process behind it.

The model gets its answers to FAQ using Using Supabase (Postgres + pgvector) as a vector database hence storing FAQ knowledge as embeddings so the AI agent can search by meaning, not just by keywords
