Finished NANDI: Mission to JAVI-1517 by Viraj. I really liked the mix of space, politics and Dev’s search for his sister. Some of the science part went over my head, but I had a good time reading it. Looking forward to book two!

There is no friend as loyal as a book.
Especially the ones that sit on your shelf for years and still wait patiently.
You spend a whole book picturing someone.
Then the movie shows up and a stranger is wearing their clothes.
Finished reading The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides & I loved it! A gripping psychological thriller that kept me curious about what really happened. The mystery, the storytelling & that ending made this an easy 5⭐ read for me. Highly recommend!
I sometimes miss the characters from a book more than I miss people I actually know. Reading is a strange thing.
Going into a book with absolutely no expectations and finishing it wondering why nobody told you how good it was.
When a book has too many characters and you spend the first hundred pages trying to remember who’s related to whom.
There’s a point in some books where you stop checking how many pages are left and just hope the story keeps going.
Reading a book with a beautiful cover is one thing. Finishing it and realising the story was just as beautiful? That’s a different kind of happiness.
One of the best feelings as a reader is finding someone who has read the same book and immediately understanding why they have so much to say about it.
I buy books I'm genuinely excited to read and then somehow spend the next few months reading everything except that book.
Lending someone a book & immediately regretting it because you already know you are never seeing that book again.
Please tell me I’m not the only one.
September was a slower reading month for me. 📚
Finished 2 books ~ The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo & Days at the Torunka Café. Started The Silent Patient, listened to a few chapters of Articulating Design Decisions & 1984 is still in progress. 😬
Read on 26 days this month.
Finished Days at the Torunka Café. Three different stories, each with something of its own and I liked seeing how they connected. I also loved the café setting. A lovely read overall. 4/5 ⭐️
