Ruka Kayamori, the protagonist of Heaven Burns Red, perfectly embodies Jun Maeda's decision to forgo prolonging a husk-like existence through active treatment for his illness and instead devote what remains of his creative will to his work. Huge respect for his decision choice

Please read Heaven Burns Red, out of respect for Maeda Jun's eternal legacy. Maeda Jun is literally putting his life, heart and soul on the line for this masterwork; I can wholeheartedly say that it's a generational masterpiece on the level of CLANNAD and Little Busters! already.
