Introducing Vals-Smith: turn your code base into a customized benchmark. Public benchmarks tell you which model is strongest overall, not which model is the best on your code. Vals-Smith turns your merged pull requests into real coding tasks and measures the percentage a model can actually resolve. New models ship every week. Vals-Smith tells you which one to trust with your code.

Introducing GPT-5.5 A new class of intelligence for real work and powering agents, built to understand complex goals, use tools, check its work, and carry more tasks through to completion. It marks a new way of getting computer work done. Now available in ChatGPT and Codex.

I don't know what they are doing over there, but Codex will continue to be available both in the FREE and PLUS ($20) plans. We have the compute and efficient models to support it. For important changes, we will engage with the community well ahead of making them. Transparency and trust are two principles we will not break, even if it means momentarily earning less. A reminder that you vote with your subscription for the values you want to see in this world.
For clarity, we're running a small test on ~2% of new prosumer signups. Existing Pro and Max subscribers aren't affected.

Since this is blowing up on hacker news. Boris said that CLI usage is allowed. Thus we added support for it, only to find out that we are still blocked there. It is trival to work around with a few renames, but I don't wanna play that game. So it's in a weird limbo where cli use should work in theory but doesn’t in practice. xitter.cf/bcherny/status/2041035…

Lmk if this helps with Codex OAuth: github.com/openclaw/openclaw… Moving @ the speed of AI ain’t easy. You’re gonna crash. You’re gonna stumble. We’re no different. We do those things too, just more publicly than you. But what I adore about us (@openclaw maintainers) is our humility as learners, dedicated to building and growing together. While we may not always get it right the first time, we will iterate, listen, and (stubbornly) commit until we fucking do. Tysm for being part of this journey and (respectfully) — remember to exfoliate 🦞✨ xitter.cf/i/trending/20451760829…

Codex for (almost) everything. It can now use apps on your Mac, connect to more of your tools, create images, learn from previous actions, remember how you like to work, and take on ongoing and repeatable tasks.
