Montana voters approved a ballot measure to ban corporations, nonprofits and labor unions from doing business in the state if they made political contributions. State's rights v. Citizens United. Will be fun to see SCOTUS deal with that one. Bravo Montana!!!

A lot of people talked about lot of shit about giving up on this kid despite the flashes last year. Keeping all these vets was going to cause more problems for his development than anyone and he’s answering the call.

This is an unusual tweet. My reading of this is the Vice President is blaming the policy of the President. And the son of the President is tweeting agreement.
Am I missing something? Is there a really clever play at work here or is someone dense?

DOGE was a data harvesting op. Multiple staffers illegally accessed and copied (or agreed to copy) Americans' personal data with the intention of handing it over to private businesses or political orgs. Going after Elon would be one of the easiest layups of all time.

Here is the video of how it all happened
This guy joined a queue and decided he was too important to wait like everyone else. When another man confronted him for trying to jump the line, his ego took a massive hit.
Instead of accepting his mistake, he went on an insulting spree, throwing all sorts of abuse at the other guy. The man he was insulting remained calm and said just one thing: “Don't call me nigga.”
That was his only request. But Mr. Alpha Male apparently thought respecting that simple boundary was beneath him. He continued acting tough, as though the entire world owed him respect while he owed nobody any.
Well, he picked the wrong person to test.
What happened next was absolutely insane!
LESSON WELL LEARNT🤣🤣
You can choose to disrespect someone, but you don't get to choose how they respond. Sometimes your biggest enemy isn't the person confronting you; it's your own uncontrollable ego. FAFO!

Four years ago, Pres. Biden nominated Scott Colom to serve as a federal judge in Mississippi.
Mississippi Republican Senator Roger Wicker supported the nomination of Mr. Colom. The state's other senator, Cindy Hyde-Smith, refused to do so based on absurd claims.
Mr. Colom reached to Sen. Hyde-Smith to address her concerns and respectfully point out misunderstandings on her part and appeal to her better angels.
Other prominent Mississippi Republicans reached out to Sen. Hyde-Smith asking her to reconsider and support Mr. Colom's nomination.
She still refused, effectively killing his nomination for no good reason.
She's now on the verge of losing her seat to Scott Colom, who would have never been a threat if she had supported his judicial nomination.

The Mississippi Senate race is an extraordinary story. If you dig up the history between the two Scott Colom (Dem) vs Cindy Hyde (GOP). This guy Colom was minding his own business and was on track to be a district judge (local bi partisan choice btw) under Biden.
But Hyde Smith the current Senator wouldn't give her approval, she blocked Colom's nomination and that was the end of his district judge path. So last year Colom decided to run against Hyde Smith. He is within striking distance of becoming the first black Senator for Mississippi since 1871, and the first Dem Senator since 1989.
Extraordinarily, Scott Colom is on track to win the uncalled Senate race in Mississippi (the last margin I saw was 39 votes but the remaining count favours him, as Kornacki shows in this clip).
Colom is a black attorney who ran on a "Common Sense" economic-populist platform aimed at daily life: gas, groceries, healthcare and closing hospitals, plus Medicaid expansion. He won many switchers, and the Republican vote collapsed. That’s how a race which was classed likely or safe Republican until the final week was flipped.
This will turn out to be a more than ten-point swing in a poor red state in the Deep South. Swing voters are more volatile than ever, especially when they’re economically hard pressed. They respond to common sense, and they’ve decided Trump and the Republicans are not on their side.
Fierce attacks on Colom’s socially liberal track record on some issues didn’t dent him. He said he was Christian and has always been “pro-life”, but that he would trust his daughters to make their own decisions.
