AI is on the front lines in Iran. Claude has helped select targets, and Grok has coordinated missile strikes. Yet 42% of Americans have heard nothing about it.

The UAE nuclear deal is considered the "gold standard" because the UAE agreed to forgo enrichment and reprocessing, two paths to bomb-grade material.
The proposed Saudi deal doesn't require the same, explains @khansahar1 in @RStatecraft.

Central banks tend to treat inflation as "a demon to be slain at all costs."
But when prices spike from short-term shocks, argues IGA board chair @zacharykarabell, raising rates risks "compounding the harms and making them last even longer."

"The war, which was unpopular from the start, is even more unpopular now, according to a poll released this week by @InGlobalAffairs. A majority of Americans think the war was a mistake, cannot name a goal worth continuing it for, believe it has increased the cost of living, and give primary blame to either the U.S. or its co-belligerent Israel for starting it." ~ @matthew_petti for @reason reason.com/2026/09/18/trumps…

The Iran war is a lot more relevant to people's lives than the White House might have realized. Four in five Americans are connecting it to rising economic costs — and that's held steady for six months, according to our new @InGlobalAffairs/@YouGov polling.
The data suggests that the war is not abstract. It's what you're thinking about when you're filling up your gas tank, or buying a plane ticket.
Thanks @dbessner and the @AmPrestigePod for having me on to talk through these new survey findings and more.
