Latest results show a much better result for PM Netanyahu's bloc. Looking much more likely that he'll remain in power, unless the Opposition Bloc breaks a taboo and aligns with the Arab bloc, which won a stunning 16 seats. 66pc of vote counted. #Israel
With 65.8% of polls reporting, we have a clearer picture of where this is going. The Netanyahu camp has 56, the opposition at 48 and the Arab parties at 16. The regressions I ran now average 55 for the Netanyahu bloc, 48 for the opposition bloc, and 17 for the Arab parties. This is looking like a FAR better night for Netanyahu and his folks than anyone expected. They are simply far more popular than we thought.

❗️A 🇷🇺Russian cruise missile (small jet-powered drone) “Geran-5 K5-K” fell in the 🇺🇦Odesa region due to technical malfunctions. This is a new modification of the Geran-5 series, distinguished by an autonomous optical navigation system (it orients itself using images of the terrain rather than relying solely on satellite signals), as well as increased range, speed, and flight altitude. The presented photos are the first close-up images of this munition.

❗️The United States is considering lifting sanctions on the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), which is managed by Kirill Dmitriev under the supervision of Vladimir Putin. The White House describes the fund as one of the key instruments of the Kremlin’s international influence. According to people familiar with the talks, Russian officials have insisted on this step as part of broader negotiations on the fund’s involvement in supplying Russian diesel fuel to the United States. The U.S. previously referred to the RDIF as “Putin’s fund.” Lifting sanctions on the multi-billion-dollar fund would represent a significant easing of years-long U.S. efforts to use economic pressure to change Russia’s behavior, The New York Times reports.
