My take on ArieForce One to SFMM: X2 last ran in July after injuring multiple riders. AF1 went on sale shortly after. Most parks have multiple year expansion plans. SFMM wasn't planning to lose another roller coaster so soon, so they picked up AF1 on the cheap to replace it.

NEW: U.S. theme park attendance was largely steady in 2025, according to the TEA Global Experience Index. Disney’s six U.S. parks were flat compared to 2024, while Epic drew 4 million visits in its partial first year and helped lift combined Universal Orlando attendance.
