BREAKING: Amadeo Event Centre Explains Cancellation of Peter Obi’s NDC Town Hall in Enugu Amadeo Event Centre has said it initially withdrew permission for the NDC town hall meeting involving Mr Peter Obi after decoration materials associated with a political party were brought to the venue, which it said violated the booking terms. In a statement, the management said the venue was booked by the Nigeria Institute of Healthcare Givers and Medical Social Work Practitioners for a national meeting, not a political rally. The centre, however, said it later allowed the event to proceed as a youth town hall meeting with Peter Obi to prevent a breach of peace. It also denied receiving any instruction from the Enugu State Government over the matter.
BREAKING: Political Tension in Enugu as NDC Candidate Raises Alarm Over Planned Town Hall Meeting “They are trying to stop Peter Obi’s town hall meeting in Enugu State for political reasons. It can never happen. We paid ₦3.5 million for the hall and an additional ₦500,000 for the outside space, but now they are trying to prevent us.” — Princess Ada Ogbu, Enugu East NDC senatorial candidate, raises the alarm ahead of tomorrow’s town hall meeting in Enugu State, alleging attempts to stop the event for political reasons.

In an essay titled “From Reforms to Delivery,” Tinubu said borrowing should fund productive projects that benefit future generations. The statement was issued on Thursday by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy.

The request was conveyed in a letter read by Senate President Godswill Akpabio during Tuesday’s plenary. Tinubu explained that the proposed loans would help address Nigeria’s infrastructure funding needs and finance key sectors, including power, transportation, agriculture, healthcare, education, water supply, security, job creation, and reforms in financial management.
