“I Am Mr Eazi, No One Else Can Rock Puff Puff With Silver Hair And Walk Into The Boardroom” Nigerian singer and record executive Oluwatosin Ajibade, popularly known as Mr Eazi, has reflected on criticism from his mentor and business partner over his TikTok videos. Mr Eazi recently became more active on TikTok, sharing videos that have generated mixed reactions from fans and friends, including his mentor. Speaking on a recent episode of the Culture Daily Live podcast, the singer revealed that his unnamed mentor once expressed concerns about how a video of him circulating on TikTok might affect his public image. According to Mr Eazi, his mentor told him, “My kids showed me this video of you. I think it shows you in the wrong light. You know, you need to really understand who you are.” Mr Eazi said he listened to the concerns before asking his mentor whether they had done significant business together. After receiving an affirmative response, he asked whether the TikTok video would stop him from doing business with him. His mentor reportedly answered no. The singer said the exchange reinforced his belief that he could express himself freely without compromising his business reputation. “I am Mr Eazi,” he declared, adding that nobody else could appear on TikTok with silver hair and puff puff, then confidently walk into a boardroom. For Mr Eazi, the experience demonstrated that being authentic to himself does not have to conflict with being taken seriously in the business world.

The committee recommended the prosecution of officers found responsible, alongside the payment of N1.4 billion in compensation to bereaved families and survivors.

The Federal Government has approved a N70,000 monthly transport allowance for public service workers for six months, starting in November 2026. The government approved the allowance on Tuesday in Abuja after pressure from the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) over workers’ welfare and the rising cost of living. The intervention is expected to cushion the effects of rising transportation costs on workers during the six-month period.

Concerns As Residents Scoop Liquid From Fallen Tanker Along Sapele–Warri Road Residents were seen scooping liquid from a fallen tanker along the Sapele–Warri Road in Delta State this morning, raising concerns over the dangers involved. This incident comes barely two weeks after a similar scene at Oluku Market in Benin City, Edo State, where residents were seen scooping fuel from a fallen tanker before a fire outbreak occurred at the market. The recurring incidents have renewed concerns over public safety and the risks associated with scooping substances from fallen tankers. #sapele #deltastate #tanker
