I see many KK bloggers claiming that GenZ are young, gullible & need mentorship. For the avoidance of doubt, this movement is not a conversation between parents and their children about table manners. Rather, it is between citizens and their elected officials. Stand guided.

Again, the brutality is the point. Believe your lying eyes. You can't afford what you used to, and you're pointed to a road being built and told the economy is working. You're abducted, or beaten, and told "si sorry bas, we have a good constitution". Goons roam the streets and you're told security starts with you. This is an argument between Kenya's past and its future.

Fellow Kenyans, here is the link to the Report of the National Taskforce on Improvement of the Terms and Conditions of Service and Other Reforms for Members of the National Police Service, Kenya Prisons Service and National Youth Service, widely referred to as the Maraga Taskforce report: maragareport.filedrop.me/s/p… #Ukombozi2027

After dark, Dr @kizzabesigye1 was moved from Luzira Prison to JCRC hospital today. He is still very weak. He struggles to walk, speak, write or even hold anything steadily. I am asking for one thing - let me bring him home to Geneva for proper medical care, surrounded by his family. He has been arrested more than 50 times. He has faced case after case. He has never run away from justice. Why drag a sick man from place to place? Why deny him the care of his family? Why force a trial on a man too ill to defend himself? He needs care, not cruelty. This is not justice. It is persecution. #RightToHealth #FreeKizzaBesigye

I am with you @bwire_marie ,all I am doing is asking my preferred candidate @edwinsifuna to add meat to the bones of constitutionalism. Equitable distribution of resources is part of CoK, how will he do it? Because clearly the last couple of guys haven't done it!

Can you check what Oparanya did with roads when he was the governor ? There's roads for county and some for national gvts...we need leadership that respects the constitution !

Truth is that majority of roads in this country look like Homabay County! Dusty and impassable especially when it rains. Big questions to Edwin Sifuna and Co, other than returning us to constitutional order, what's the plan with the roads and related infrastructure???

Kagina: Is there a possibility of the opposition fronting a single candidate to face Ruto a year from now? Jim India: To find people with political ambitions sitting around a table and saying, "wacha nikuachie, mimi nitajaribu next time," is difficult. However, there exists public sentiment. Edwin "Wakenya" Sifuna, a few months ago, no one was mentioning his name. He was just this SG of ODM running around with his polo t-shirt. To see him being considered in those polls is a big statement. #KURA2027

Jim India: ODM coming in was a rescue plan. It was a government that had failed. It was an indictment of the government that they had done a terrible job. On protest compensation, we have to give it to them, there has been disbursement. However, what has not happened is responsibility. Compensation without accountability and responsibility is hollow. #KURA2027

Jim India: President Ruto loves to blow his own trumpet. He has consistently asked us if he is a mad man, and I'm afraid one day we will answer him. He rode on a platform of hustler nation and bottom-up transformation, but instead what he has delivered is bottom-up poverty. #AmkaKenya

The High Court has agreed with us that the General Elections ought to have been held this year on 9TH AUGUST, 2026…holding the elections on any other day would be contrary to Article 136 (2) of the Constitution. The declaration of unconstitutionality has however been suspended until after the next general elections. Cc @Dr_OOwiso @otienowill @Ashioyabiko @KhelefKhalifa

Kenya's protein crisis is silent but catastrophic. 26% of children under 5 are stunted. Malnutrition costs the country KES 273.9 billion/yr, 6.9% of GDP. The cognitive damage is irreversible. Here's what the evidence says, and how poultry, pigs & oily fish can fix it. A short🧵

Jambo @kenyanpundit Here is a perspective from the energy sector. Kenya is largely a daytime economy with a relatively low load factor. Electricity demand rises sharply during business hours and in the evening but many industrial and commercial loads shut down at night. This means the power system experiences short periods of high demand separeted by long periods of relatively low consumption. Now in the case of (egg - hen who came first) let's see what industrialisation does When kenya industrializes evenly - let's say port loading and offloading in mombasa, steel in taita taveta, cement in nanyuki, mining in isiolo, data centres in nyahururu, cold rooms in wajir, plastic recycling in turkana, green house farms nakurur, egg incubators in kisumu, airports all over and even mama mboga all operating 24 hours, they increase the base load evenly. When base load increases the electricity demand remains relatively high throughout the 24 hour period. Since all these activities are going on throughout the day & night the system load factor is well utilised in both generation, transmission, distribution & consumption. Why is this important? Before kplc tell me and you the price of 1 "token" unit is 25 shillings, they have to pay someone else an amount. This someone else could be KenGen or Atwoli, but this is what happens. KPLC knows that in the next 1 month they will need 60 units to serve me and you, but when they call kengen they don't ask for 60, they ask for 100 units, why? Because 1. KenGen is in Sondu and I am in butere, if kengen releases 100 units, because physics happens (technical losses), only around 90 units will get to butere, but kengen has already forwarded kplc an invoice of 100 units, then Atwoli's cousin has a house next to mine in butere, and because he knows people he does not pay kplc for whatever he will consume, so KENGEN releases 100 units, 10 get lost along the journey, I consume 30 units, you consume 30 units, Atwoli's cousin consumes 30 units but kplc does not know where Atwoli's house is, neither do they have an account with him. So kplc sit down, look at kengen's invoice, look at my account, look at your's and say, these 2 will pay for 100 units, so the cost of my 30 units and your 30 units is raised to cover for 100 units. 2. When KPLC call Kengen and ask for 100 units, kengen has to pay engineer Odhis and his expensive mercedes to maintain the generators in sondu to be able to deliver 100 units at any given time. But it happens that this time, you travel to lesotho and I go visit my relatives Tororo so we won't consume our usual 30 units each, but Atwoli's cousin is not going anywhere, so he still consumes his 30 units, So kplc get nothing from me, nothing from you, but remember Engineer odhis has a mercedes that needs Vpower so Kengen will tell kplc, whether you sell this power or not, odhis needs to be paid to maintain the generators at a capacity that can generate 100 units so we will send you an invoice on monday as usual, it will not be a huge figure but it has to be paid. In these 2 basic scenarios, KPLC have 3 basic challenges, The first 1 is to ensure that there are many KENGENs allover so that when the nearest kengen releases 100 units in sondu, rather than loosing 10 to butere, they loose 3 or 4 to Kisumu. Then another Kengen in kakamega can release 100 units to butere and lower the units lost. The second is to ensure they find Atwoli's cousin house and give him an account so that at the end of every month after selling 90 units they have 3 accounts and now instead of me and you paying for what Atwoli's cousin consumed, we only pay for what we consumed plus the 3 or 4 that was lost. The third is to ensure that KPLC find a way of convincing me to employ someone to pump water to my farm, install an air conditioner in butere, talk to my sacco members in butere so that we can buy incubators to hatch eggs through out the year, what this does is that it compensates for the time when I'm off to Tororo, When these measures are implemented, the overall load factor improves, a higher load factor allows KPLC and kengen to recover fixed generation and transmission costs over a larger volume of electricity sales, leading to more efficient financial arrangements and potentially lower long-term electricity costs per unit, when the cost goes down, more industries either join the grid or the existing ones ramp up production and lower cost of product. When the cost of product is lowered, I can go to my sacco, pick day old chicks, travel to kakamega farmers agency and collect high quality feeds ata a lower cost, feed my birds to maturity, collect eggs, sell back to my sacco members, to eshishebu primary, shiatsala market and by doing so, lower the cost of eggs on a larger scale.
For experts, what would it take to get eggs to 10 bob? And it’s ok to imagine, imagine 😅 Can public schools have a boiled egg day once a week? Why not? On cost of feeds - does maize need to be 60 percent of the input? What about soy? Black soldier? Omena? Wheat pollard?

NO,NO, NO Mr. so called President!!! You don’t get to talk about threats when your administration has spent the last few years becoming the biggest threat to ordinary Kenyans. And this habit of calling everyone who disagrees with you “anti-development” has to stop. Kenyans have every right to question you. That’s not being against progress. That’s holding the people in power accountable. You keep asking Kenyans to rally behind your government. For what exactly? To celebrate more taxes? More borrowing? More broken promises? Support is earned, Mr. President. It isn’t demanded. So please stop with this nonsense of blaming the opposition every time things aren’t working. You asked Kenyans to trust you with the country. The least you can do is take responsibility for what has happened under your watch. The opposition is not responsible for the state of our economy. You are. You’ve been in charge. If businesses are struggling, if taxes have become unbearable, if millions of Kenyans are working harder than ever but getting nowhere, that’s YOUR RECORD, not theirs. WANTAM!!
The Opposition are an existential threat to our country. They are not only a threat to our economy but also to the future of our children. We ask Kenyans to rally behind this Government; a transformative administration that is driving growth and expanding opportunities for everyone. Those who are not for progress and development should not stand in the way of our country’s transformation. Amagoro Town, Teso North, Busia County.

Sifuna should not rush to Nairobi after the Bungoma rally on 26th, instead, he should do a Linda Mwananchi Listening Tour, around the other 7 regions of Kenya, which would culminate in a major rally in Nairobi on Mashujaa Day declaring his candidacy for the presidency!

PRESS STATEMENT BY SENATOR OKIYA OMTATAH ON THE PUBLIC DEBT CASE RULING Fellow Kenyans, Today, the High Court delivered an important ruling in our public debt case. The Court upheld the @IMFNews claim of diplomatic immunity and struck it out of this petition. While we respect the Court’s decision, accountability for Kenya’s debt burden cannot end there. We are preparing a separate legal challenge to the Bretton Woods Agreements Act, 1963, against the Constitution of Kenya 2010 to ensure all actors involved in Kenya’s debt processes are subjected to proper scrutiny. Most importantly, the Court rejected attempts by the Attorney General and other respondents to have this case dismissed. The judges ruled that our petition will proceed to a full hearing on its merits. The Court also dismissed applications by the former Auditor General, former Controller of Budget, the current Auditor General, and the current Controller of Budget seeking to shield themselves from these proceedings. This is a significant victory for transparency, accountability, and the Kenyan people. We will amend our petition as directed by the Court and return on 22nd July 2026. Our mission remains unchanged: to establish how Kenya accumulated trillions in public debt, how the funds were utilized , whether the public benefited and whether the law was followed at every stage. This case is about protecting the future of our nation and the interests of every Kenyan taxpayer. We remain focused, determined, and committed to seeing it through. God Bless Kenya. #DeniBandia #OdiousDebt
