| Honouring Valour at Sea 🇮🇳 |
Vice Adm Ajay Kochhar, PVSM, AVSM, NM, Vice Chief of the Naval Staff, inaugurated a newly constructed residential building comprising 40 Dwelling Units at Chanakya Bagh, New Delhi, on 23 Oct 26.
The building has been named ‘Ravindra’, in memory of Ravindra Nath Sharma, Petty Officer (Telegraphist),VrC who was awarded the Vir Chakra for gallantry and devotion to duty during Operation Trident, 1971 Indo-Pak War.
The 10-storey building features modern residential units, which will enhance the quality of life and accommodation facilities for sailors and their families at Delhi Naval Station.
