For 25 years, I watched the '90s media elites run the ecosystem.
Fresh out of St. Xavier’s or Sophia's, they gravitated to the Congress-NCP and minority beats. 'Kaka' managed everything - jobs for spouses, school admissions, and MHADA flats. Parties were posh, singing went on all night 💃🏻, and Diwali gift coupons ran into lakhs. IAS and IPS officers were practically family.
Their job? Defend the indefensible. The rest of us were permanently pushed to pages 7 and 9.
Then came Modi and suddenly, the biggest insiders in Indian journalism started calling everyone else "Godi."
The irony is unreal.
In hindsight the Congress rally was a good thing to have happened. It has -
1. Exposed it was a purely political event with party workers forming 90% of the small crowd
2. Highlighted how Congress managed favourable media by allotting them entry cards
3. Shown there is no mass support from people of Delhi or neighbouring states
4. Ensured party workers will get further demoralised due to such a cold response
5. Shown the non Congress opposition how loose the INC grip is on resources in its own backyard
This GK house looks very bare. No AC in such a huge space. Cheap art on the walls. Looks like this house is used as a gathering place or probably as a guest house by PAAP.

I am glad you’re trying to bring facts, but all these ideas originated in India. Persians brought it to the West! All the while copying from the Sanskrit manuscripts stolen from India without giving credit to Indians.
Let me tell you another fun fact. Muslims love to claim they invented algebra, revolutionized medicine, and made all the major contributions to science. What they leave out is that the people who actually did the work were Persians.
-Omar Khayyam was a Persian mathematician and astronomer who developed systematic ways to solve cubic equations and helped create one of the most accurate solar calendars of its time.
-Ibn Sina (Avicenna) was a Persian physician whose Canon of Medicine shaped medical teaching across Europe and the Middle East for centuries.
-Al-Khwarizmi was a Persian mathematician known as the father of algebra; the word “algorithm” comes from his name, and he helped spread the Hindu-Arabic numeral system, including zero.
These were the same people Muslim invaders forced to convert, mocked as “Majoosi” for being Persian, tried to push into speaking Arabic, and whose libraries and cities they burned. The contributions came from Persian minds, not from Islam.
Islam’s historical pattern is simpler: invade, slaughter, and destroy.

Jantar Mantar at Delhi was severely damaged during the siege of Delhi in 1857. Restoration work was carried out later and ASI eventually took it over to give it its current campus.
