Oh man I'm getting stoked for the Groundwork1 launch tomorrow! 🤩
So many things to prepare and think about. I try not to get too anxious about it since its not a life or death thing.
But it can be overwhelming to think through all of the communication that needs to happen! 😬

As an entrepreneur, you have to completely unlearn all the things that schools and universities have taught you about failing.
Trial and error includes mistakes. You’re supposed to make them. It’s the best way to learn. They are part of the journey.

I've come to understand consistency being at the core of growth. I've been writing a blog post, sending a newsletter, and recording a podcast every week for a year now. I didn't have an audience, then I had a few people, then a few hundred, and now it's a few thousand.

Has anyone experimented with allowing customers to pause SaaS subscriptions instead of cancel them?
If so, what happened? Do people come back? Do you get lower churn overall?
(Paddle has a pause feature and I’m wondering if it’s worth adding as an option in my products) – at Republic of Mauritius

Do one scary thing every day.
Today, I reached out to 40+ PermanentLink trial users who didn't convert to paying customers.
Writing those emails was harder than I thought, but the responses I already received show that it's worth it.

I finally got my first paying subscriber for @CaproniFm.
That's $18 MRR 😀
It was by no means a "build it and they will come moment".
To close the deal I had to apply all of my sales katas.

I sold my first SaaS in October of last year. It was making around $100/mo and sold for around $10k.
The money was not life-changing. The experience and feeling of selling my first business... That was life-changing.
