Infernos

Taking a break from Apex Legends has opened my eyes to a few things… 1. The majority of creators are fed up, bored and are constantly speaking negatively of the game. Apex offers no actual opportunities for creators to create consistent income which also pushes them away. 2. The community for Apex is beyond terrible. I’ve never seen a community so relentless in hating on their favorite game yet continue to load it up every single day and play anyways. (you DON’T have to play a game you don’t like btw) 3. Apex Legends will die having been a “What could have been” . Now, i’ll applaud their continued success after 7 years but I don’t think I’ve ever seen a game stray so far from what popularized it and betray it’s dedicated community. Apex was meant to be a competitive movement shooter but devolved overtime to appeasing to a brain-dead input for the sake of a bigger audience. Why is it you can name several insane MnK players who switched to Controller but none that did the opposite? Apex trailers and events used to have so much passion, lore, and time that went into developing the stories. Just look at the Revenant trailer compared to the slop we get now (not to mention they release a fraction of new legends per year as they used to). From someone who was with Apex Legends from day 1, the game went from a passion project with heart and soul to a casual based BR that tries to milk the community for as much money as possible with the least amount of effort. Which is truly heart-breaking considering I’ve met several devs who GENUINELY care about the game and try their best to make the game good, but their ideas get blocked from higher-ups.
