Big congratulations to Republican Jon Maples, who just flipped a blue district to RED in Florida. His state house district is in my backyard and includes Mar-a-Lago. Congratulations, my friend!

CALMATE, REPUBLICANS!!! Trump remains president for the next two years. Deal with it, Democrats.  A Democrat House has no powers to prosecute. The DOJ will not indict. Impeachment will not lead to a Trump conviction and expulsion from office. Stupid tax, spend and legislation will be vetoed—and won’t be overridden.  After there is some sort of resolution of the Iran War, gas prices will drop like a stone.  And by the way, the threat of a nuclear armed Iran will be substantially diminished, if not eliminated. Thank you, President Trump.  It’ll be fun watching Speaker Hakeem Jeffries try to control the crazy DSA/socialist/antisemitic caucus— and enact legislation to improve “affordability” as “affordability” is being improved despite the lack of legislation. The economy is already growing—and will soon kick into an even higher gear.  For the next two years, the economy will continue to fire on all cylinders, while inflation and gas prices fall the moment the Iran War ends. What will the Democrats’ argument be then? Raise taxes on “the rich”? “Medicare-for-All”? “Trump is a Nazi”?  Given that Democrats opposed no tax on tips, opposed no tax on overtime, opposed no tax on Social Security and refused to expand school choice, etc., Democrats cannot possibly take credit for the Trump/Republican economy. They cannot possibly, with a straight face, take credit for the huge, and by recent standards, upcoming unprecedented growth in the economy.  The Republican 2028 presidential nominee—whether Vance or Rubio—will have a hell of a strong argument about the economy and “affordability.“ See you in 2028!

America is better for it ! @HagemanforWY
Harriet Hageman is headed to the U.S. Senate. The woman who BURIED Liz Cheney in 2022 just got promoted. Wyoming said it loud: no RINOs, no Democrats, no blue wave. Cry harder, MSNBC. The Cowboy State stays RED.

I would NOT TRUST him, @LeaderJohnThune, to gather enough senators to walk an elderly neighbor cross the street!
THUNE VOWS TO FIGHT DEMS: Senate Majority Leader John Thune vowed that Republicans "will not stand idly by as the far-left, socialist wing of the Democrat Party attempts to unwind everything we’ve done."

I agree on all but this .. he was in a joking manner, conversational... all the media hype was just that .. HYPE! Yes I wish at times he said things differently but no one trys or works harder. The media is DEMOCRAT PARTY PROPAGANDIST elites. Through all .. faith in Christ!
There will be lots of policy wonks giving you analysis in the coming days, and they will all have good points. But let me focus on some less policy-driven - but very real - reasons I think Republicans lost so handily last night. 1. People are tired. After working so hard for a seemingly impossible win in 2024, another (perhaps bigger and uglier) fight erupted in 2025 after Charlie was murdered that fractured the right, demoralized the base, and made people want to disentangle themselves from politics altogether. 2. Bad Republican candidates. For example, as much as Talarico makes the normal person’s skin crawl, Paxton, to many people, is worse. They see an uneasy look, an off-putting vibe, a storied past, and what appears to be apathy. Even people who loathe Talarico couldn’t bring themselves to vote for Paxton. 3. Trump doesn’t have his aura right now. Can’t even blame the media for this one. He comes across as dismissive of economic concerns. His Truth Social is pettier than ever. He’s making weird comments about people’s a**es (not kidding), making him come across as unserious when voters are hurting. This can be fine if things are getting done. But when they’re not, it’s just annoying. 4. The loss of Charlie. We may never know the extent of his unifying power and activism, but I think we understand it more now. His connection the White House, his finger on the pulse of conservative/independent concerns, his ability to bolster enthusiasm, his effectiveness in getting out the vote, especially among young men… All of that is now missing and sorely missed. There’s a lot more, of course. The war costing more than anyone wanted. Prices that are crushing the average family. Republican-approved immigration, causing huge demographic and cultural shifts, which are inherently destabilizing and demoralizing. Failure of congress to pass the SAVE Act and other important legislation. Democrats’ demure-but-deadly strategy to keep most of their candidates out of the headlines while doggedly getting out the vote. Republicans have a lot to learn in a short amount of time. Will we? All this to say… there’s reason to be concerned, yes, but not to be discouraged. God’s eternal plan of redemption is always going off without a hitch. He’s never taken aback. He never has anxiety. He’s never wondering what the outcomes will be. He’s in control. We trust in His total sovereignty while also recommitting ourselves in seeking the welfare of the city in which He has providentially placed us (Jeremiah 29:7). We’ve got work to do!

THANK YOU FLORIDA! I am humbled and grateful beyond measure. As your Governor, I will give you everything I have.  We are going to make life in Florida more affordable. We are going to keep our streets safe. We are going to invest in our young people so that they can attain the Florida Dream that all of us love so dearly. Florida is the envy of the nation. I will fight day and night to keep it that way and to lift our state to even greater heights. God Bless you, God Bless Florida, and God Bless America.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. ------------------- For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen Christ Is King!

No. Not imho.
America, do you think that our elections are honest? Do you have complete confidence that only legal votes were counted?

Fire Mike Johnson and John Thune yesterday. We need new leadership on the right. Brandon Gill or Tim Burchett should lead our house caucus as minority leader and Mike Lee should lead the Senate GOP. Total shakeup needed. It’s time to start planning for the future.

🤣HILARIOUS: JD VANCE on his daughter: "I said, identify toys you want to donate. She brought me two of her BROTHER's toys! I realized that despite my best efforts, apparently I raised a DEMOCRAT." "STEALING her brothers' toys to give to someone else!"👏🏾🤣🤣🤣

I agree with you. I would also attribute it to the hate Trump, hate Republicans Press. They REFUSE to say ANYTHING good to about what Trump has ACCOMPLISHED. No perspective gas/oil HIGHER during Obama, Biden & 80's for value of dollar. Iraq/Iran/OPEC.
Three reasons Republicans got MASSACRED last night: #1 - The UNPOPULAR Iran War… #2 - DC Elites not UNDERSTANDING the ECONOMY… #3 - ABANDONING the base!

! @LeaderJohnThune I guess JT thinks he won. I can't forsee how America will be able to go forward and have HONEST elections that they can count on UNLESS YOU ARE DEMOCRAT!
Don’t you dare blame Trump alone for the 2026 midterm election losses. Blame John Thune and every RINO who turned their backs on Trump and helped the Democrats win. We could have passed the SAVE Act, but these RINOs failed us. We still have serious questions about who voted in these elections, including whether people who weren’t legally allowed to vote And I don’t care who gets mad. I’m standing with President Trump. I voted for him, and I’m sticking with him. If you don’t like it, I don’t care. Democrats stood behind Obama and Biden no matter what. So why the hell should I turn my back on Trump. I refuse to join the Democrats in their celebration. I will never support that party.

A few final thoughts at 2 am shared on @CBSNews last night 📺 “This was, without a doubt, a Republican reckoning and reset. However we are about to see a profound ideological struggle in the Democrat Party that has been shielded by their unified opposition to Trump. This will now be wide open for the public to see.”
