Collapsing ? 😂😂 in which world?
640 sq feet carpet in new buildings in dahisar costing 1.70 cr is not collapsing. Its going on inflating. Ppl r spending too much money for little houses in a city with issues pollution, traffic, incomplete metro lines, perpetual construction etc
The @Dev_Fadnavis govt in Maharashtra has stepped in to save the collapsing real estate market in MMR. Only if developers let go of their greed and step up, if they do, then can get rid of close to 90,000 homes from the unsold stock and get the blessings of lakhs of people.
Detailed article coming soon
What r ppl even getting in exchange of paying such huge amount for these small flats?
Unlike big global cities, there is hardly any out door activities to offer, SGNP is there but its local footfall is low , no rivers or riverfront for cyclists/pedestrians, little pet parks etc

Nowadays people are talking about green cover etc. Well my uncle who is 74 years old and lived his first 16 years in.the village told me in his childhood the village was not as green as it is now (despite heavy monsoon in Konkan) as wood was cut by all people for cooking and other purposes.
Its in last 40 odd years that due to LPG cylinder and electricity, that cutting of trees for firewood has stopped.
