Niggas be bringing me $20 a week animation gigs where I have to draw everything from the backgrounds to the keyframe colors, and then get mad that I’m acting “unprofessional” when I ghost them after they’re owing me $10 on the last gig, to go work on a $400/ week remote job. First off, I’m genz so I will ghost any employer that owes me 50% of my pay, secondly, there’s no way in hell or high waters that a client that’s stingy with my $10 payment will buy my loyalty over a job that freely pays above $400.

The scoring rule was simple: predict nothing, score zero.
But if your model was right and too confident, you scored BELOW zero. Worse than doing nothing.
The math behind it is one line:
score = 2m - m²
m is how big you bet compared to the right size. At m = 1 you win the most. At m = 2 you win nothing. Past that you lose, even when you're right.
It's the same curve as the Kelly formula. LTCM had two Nobel winners, ran 25x leverage and lost $4.6B in four months.
Being wrong is not what kills traders. Being right at the wrong size is.

You were asking for 1.5m naira for a part time admin position, some of which was to make posts on social media. A remote job at that.
We already have AI softwares doing that for less than $75 a month. Your job basically as I informed you will mainly to manage ai agents and automations.
I also told you that for that amount, you will probably do more than admin, you may be delegated to join our Tech team as a frontend UX staff of which you declined saying you are a UX designer only
But ofcourse “you know your worth”, as in your words: you charge $2000 to design websites and people pay.

Today, I'm making a series of game maps and new tile sets for my gameboy strategy game; right now I'm trying to prototype obstacles for the first map including rock and water obstacles and their animations. #gamedev #gameboy #pixelart #gaming #strategygames
Lastly, I prototyped a grass level and found a lot of reuse in the "extra tile variation duplicates" I complained about above; This looks satisfactory to me right now so I will save these map levels and come back later to export them to C files, then build my map loader randomizer subsystem in the game code #devlog #gameboy #c #pixelart #gamedev
