On this date 112 years ago, Disney Legend Ward Kimball was born. Kimball, along with Disney Legends Ollie Johnston, Frank Thomas, Ken O'Connor, and Marc Davis would "cement their place" in theme park history at the opening of Disney-MGM Studios Theme Park on May 1, 1989. 📽️🎞️

Dan Abraham, co-director of ONCE UPON A STUDIO, is helping with The Magic of Disney Animation attraction that is coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios next year. "If you had told me 30 years ago, when I worked in this park as a kid, that I would be returning one day to help create an attraction that was based on a short I directed, I think my brain would have exploded. I couldn’t think of a bigger honor than getting to work with these incredible Imagineers."

Farewell to the Disney's Hollywood Studios arch, which was torn down over the weekend as part of the park's transformation of Animation Courtyard. Here's a #throwback to one of my favorite photos that I took of the arch, which showcases how it looked prior to its 2019 makeover.
