Some people have to pretend like you’re a bad person when they’re threatened by the purity of your heart, the depth of your authenticity, and the radiance of your light. It’s not about you. It’s about their inability to accept you in your totality. People often reject what they cannot receive, comprehend, or appreciate. And so, it becomes easier to create a version of you they can easily criticize and condemn than to welcome the fullness of who you are. Remember, this is not your discord.

I’ve noticed that when you carry a certain light, some people will purposely withhold support as an attempt to “humble” you. Especially if you’re one who embodies a strong magnetism and is loved by many. There’s a beautiful transmutation that happens when you become detached from their approval, validation, and ideas of you. You are free from the power they thought they held. You remember that their withholding was never a measure of your worth, your gifts, or the light you embody.
