Before the world feared their wisdom, women were midwives, priestesses, herbalists, water guardians, and keepers of ancient knowledge.
They understood the language of plants, the rhythms of the body, the mysteries of birth, and the sacred connection between humanity and nature. They held space for life, guided communities through transitions, and preserved wisdom passed down through generations.
Yet, throughout history, many women who carried this knowledge were misunderstood, persecuted, or branded as dangerous.
Perhaps the word witch was never the whole story.
Perhaps behind the label was a woman who remembered what others had forgotten — that healing is sacred, nature is a teacher, and wisdom does not always come from institutions.
