#Elks President and CEO Chris Morris says ticket sales have passed the 28K mark for tomorrow's Labour Day Rematch game. 30K is in reach but Morris' message to fans is if you want to go to the game, there are tickets to be had. #CFL

The #Elks super powers are belief and toughness. Offence was very poor for one half. Team is down 25-7 and then 28-14. From 28-14 the Elks out-score the Stampeders 24-0! Special teams played well again for a 3rd straight game. Tyreek McAllister had a couple of good returns but was contained for the most part. Jake Julien had a TD saving play on a 43 yard return for McAllister. Blanchard nailing a 52-yard FG in the 4th was another big moment. Defence played well despite giving up 28 points, they were not put in the best of situations because of turnovers from the offence. All 3 levels contributed. The 3 who stood out to me were Nick Anderson, Kordell Jackson, and Noah Taylor. Created two key turnovers. It was not Cody Fajardo's best game execution-wise but the man just leads and puts the team on his back. 76 yards rushing and his legs really hurt the Stamps D. Key change in the 3rd qtr. when ShunDerrick Powell entered the game and was key on Austin Mack's TD drive. Powell blocked very well which is what you need to do as a running back in this league. It lit a fire under Justin Rankin who hit another specatular TD run in the 4th. Joe Robustelli showed why the Elks signed him, big and has good agility. The Elks are not kind to themselves but you need to play all 4 quarters to beat them. Again, this is a 9-3 team and their ceiling is still very high. Offence needs to find some polish and consistency over the final 6 games. The Concrete Castle of the North (credit: Mark Kilam's genius moniker) awaits the Labour Day Rematch on Saturday. #CFL
