Women &girls bear the brunt of conflict, which deeply affect mental wellbeing. In Sept, we partnered w/ @demobrwanda to provide mental health awareness & psychosocial support to women refugees/former combatants who returned from #DRC to #Rwanda. Thank you for this partnership 🙏
The 3-day workshop equipped participants with social and emotional skills to raise awareness and strengthen their ability to cope with mental health conditions, laying the foundation for a safe return and reintegration into their families and communities. #Rwanda #peacebuilding

Une paix durable se construit avec les communautés. La table ronde virtuelle organisée le mois dernier par Interpeace_Org et @Indigo_CI a rappelé qu'une collaboration étroite entre citoyens et autorités est essentielle pour prévenir les conflits avant qu'ils ne dégénèrent. 💬
Depuis 2020, 15 Cadres de collaboration ont été mis en place en Côte d’Ivoire, renforçant le dialogue entre citoyens, autorités et leaders locaux. Ils ont contribué à prévenir les violences, notamment lors des élections de 2025 et à consolider la cohésion sociale et la confiance.
Reintegration of genocide convicts in #Rwanda requires a systemic approach. This is why we are working w/ inmates, families, and communities to foster healing, reduce stigma, rebuild relationships + trust before/during reintegration. This was the topic of a recent workshop. 💬
W/ support of @EUinRW + partners @Unity_MemoryRw @RBCRwanda @RCS_Rwanda @haguruka_ngo @pfrwanda @DiDe_Rwanda we are implementing the Family-Based Pathways to Inmate Reintegration initiative, promoting family engagement & institutional collaboration for safe returns. 💬
