Your wallet shows you the fee and the confirmation time, but not the one number a shielded transaction exists to provide: a pool with 812 deposits can leave only 9 candidates an observer actually can't tell apart from you. Interweave computes that number, signs it every block from public chain data anyone can recompute, and hands wallets a safe_at() gate so they can wait for a real crowd instead of guessing.
