The saddest part about ao3 being down is how many ppl have revealed just how deeply they’ve internalised treating fandom creators as content machines rather than respecting their craft. So few question why we view creativity through the lens of intellectual prperty and copyright

People claiming the fic drives are for community well then you could've made it an community effort instead of trampling over authors. You could've opened a drive for willing fic authors to put their works! Most of us don't write on the archive directly we do have copies!
