They're needing fewer ppl for over.. so I MIGHT risk not volunteering again til Thursday [to get early Friday]- in hopes of a Friday night shutdown.

Hi there , FFXIV community, casual here. No lol I’m not mad I can’t get savage gear, I do not do savage content therefore I do not expect savage gear. I go for gear that reflects the level I can play at and I’m good with that. I enjoy the MSQ stories and meeting people.
It'll be important for us to show up with a gameplan other than "stand around holding our balls & blaming lack of execution instead of piss-poor play calls."

It's Monday. I didn't have to go in early bc they had tried to mandatory me into Sunday night over. Luckily I had a coworker that liked bribe money.
Schedule the next few weeks is projected 5 days.. But I'll believe that when I live it.
My string of Friday VAC days starts soon.
I'm out of the loop; but, I will agree with 1 point.
Casuals really keep the lights on.
#FFXIV's popularity was built on straightforward design, regularity of delivered content.
But "vocal elitists" wanted difficulty ramp-up everywhere- & we got Shinryu normal made like an EX.
I'm only in decent gear now bc I bought a crafted set & just recently bought a few bits of Mnemonic gear.
The "seasonal gear" to "Hard mode raid gear" progression wheel Evercold is bringing.. Will only see me manage whatever seasonal gear my erratic play time allows me to get.
Too much listening to a vocal elitist minority & ignoring the casual base that made this game what it is..
And if the MSQ quality doesn't get back on track [DT was 🔥🗑🐂💩].. I fear for the future of #FFXIV.
But all this is my 2 cents & I'm not here for 'git gud' replies.
