A salute to women everywhere on Jan 6th, Nollag na mBan (Women's Christmas). Traditionally the day where women finally get a day to themselves after attending to the needs of everyone else in the family throughout Christmas, in more recent years it has become a day where women seize the opportunity to come together to simply celebrate being women and the wonderful female friendships that enrich our lives. Am honoured to be Róisín Ingle and Suzanne Brennan's guest on today's episode of the IrishTimes Women's podcast @itwomenspodcast to discuss how the concept of Nollag na mBan shines a light on the essential but #invisiblejob of looking after family and a home that continues to be unequally shared between men and women all over the world.
